What?
LET'S GET MUDDY! In this beginner's pottery class, we will explore many hand-building and glazing methods in a relaxed and encouraging environment. We will have fun playing with clay, and encourage one another to see where our imagination takes us!
Where?
Classes will be held at Carisbrooke Elementary school, right after school ends. The instructor will collect the Kindergarten students directly from their classrooms at dismissal, and the grade 1s will meet us in the Thunderbird Room.
When?
Fridays after school for 1 hour, from 3:00 - 4:00 pm
8 weeks long
April 19 - June 14
Why?
Our goal is to get children excited about clay and all the possibilities the medium offers. In the process, they will develop their hand-eye coordination, expand their patience and focus, have fun getting dirty, and build confidence in their abilities at the same time. If they happen to create something of beauty on the journey, that's secondary!
how much?
8-week session costs $288 + tax. All clay, tools, glazes, and firings are included in the lesson fees. Please e-transfer the full amount to VvNPottery@gmail.com once you have received the confirmation e-mail with instructions to do so.
