On this season of Pottery Rocks™, we take a deep dive into the magical world of GLAZE! What is vitrification? How does glaze differ from paint?  How does a resist work? We will learn and practice different glazing techniques, learn some basics about glaze chemistry, and finish spectacular stoneware pieces -- all in a relaxed and encouraging environment. We will work with mid-fire glazes that produce surprising and enchanting results. All finished pieces will be food-, dishwasher-, and microwave-safe, so they may be enjoyed for years to come!
